As my birthday, April 19, drew near, I knew for sure I wanted to gift myself a personal website. Over the last six months, amid a rollercoaster of accomplishments and adversity, the building of this space became a reckoning of sorts for me - a process that held a light to the work I've done in the last 12 years and the domains I'm now building into and creating from. My work has evolved. So has my creative practice, and while many core values have anchored the essence of who I am, I'm different in many ways.

So, I'm delighted to return to the exhilarating but often daunting practice of chronicling, of creating in shared spaces, and of moving courage-first, into the dreams that must now become my reality. Even more, I'm thrilled that this came to life on my birthday.

Welcome to my Digital Studio!

Here, you will find my collections of essays, poetry, visual art, and hybrid pieces that explore self, systems, and the futures we're living into.

P.S.: My journal entry from April 19, 2026, is a fitting way to step over the threshold into what this space becomes henceforth.

The day brings with itself a loud call...a beckoning...an invitation to knead gratitude into every impulse. faith into all frontiers of meaning, and hope into every noble desire.

Today, I count the tokens of every win, every miracle, every answered prayer, every struggle. Today, I mark the tomb of defeat, bury fear deep beneath faith, and celebrate that I did not drown in survival mode.

I call myself by name. Nmasinachi - beauty comes from God. A name that echoes James 1:17: all good and perfect gifts come from God, the Father of lights in whom there is no shadow of turning.

I call myself by my father's love. Ada Ogadinma! Ogbuhere Uzo!

I call myself by my mother's ambition. Nwa ka dimkpa asaa. Nwa m ji alo na nro!

I call myself by the truest parts of myself - courageous, wise, resilient, kind, generous, faithful, healthy, wealthy.

I call myself by my legacy - impact, service, inclusive abundance...peace.

Happy birthday to me, and thank you to the ones who love me, for in their love I'm continually made whole.

Don't make this a monologue. Introduce yourself. Drop a comment. I'd love to hear from you!

Love,

Nma
