Scholar, practitioner, and entrepreneur - three expressions of the same commitment to understanding how agricultural systems work, building what is missing, and bringing rigorous, grounded thinking to the people and institutions trying to change them.
My research focuses on resilience in high-value agricultural systems across Africa. My consulting and advisory practice serves governments, development finance institutions, agri-food enterprises, multilaterals, and research institutions on agricultural systems strategy, sustainability standards, data infrastructure, governance, and policy. And I am the founder of Graft Africa - a catalytic platform connecting farmers, youth, innovators, and partners to build resilient value chains, activate knowledge, and accelerate the investments and partnerships West Africa's agri-food future demands
These three are not separate tracks. The research sharpens the practice, the practice grounds the research, and Graft Africa is where both come to life at scale.
Consulting and Advisory Practice
I work at the intersection of agricultural systems research, institutional governance, and applied practice - bringing together deep theoretical grounding, field experience across West Africa and beyond, and a growing technical practice in agricultural data and sustainability standards. My advisory work is built for clients grappling with the real structural complexity of African agricultural systems - who need a thought partner who understands both the analysis and the action.
