I am Nma Agada - a thinker, builder, and dreamer at the intersection of sustainable agricultural development, climate resilience, institutional innovation, African futures, and the fine arts. My work is rooted in the soil of smallholder farms and stretches to the boardrooms of global institutions, threading together stories of survival, systems of change, and futures being realized even now.
My scholarship moves from smallholder farms in rural Ghana to the financing architectures of global institutions, always oriented toward the same question: what does it actually take for systems, and the people inside them, to not just survive pressure but transform? That question lives equally in my research, my consulting practice, and in Graft Africa, the enterprise I founded to build the data infrastructure, convening platforms, and partnerships that West Africa's agri-food systems need.
It lives in my writing too - in essays and creative work that trace the intimate terrain of identity, place, faith, and what it means to carry both the past and the future into the present. Across all of it, I am drawn to the spaces where rigorous thinking and genuine imagination meet, because that is where the most durable change begins.
